How SJ CODE LABS handles personal data on this website and in the software we provide.
Who we are
SJ CODE LABS (“we”, “us”), a proprietorship registered under Udyam UDYAM-MH-01-0324387, runs sjcodelabs.com and makes software for businesses, such as Garage Pro and our billing and management products. This website
The website has no sign-up, adverts or analytics trackers. The contact form opens your own email app; we receive only what you choose to send us. Fonts load from Google Fonts, and our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) may set a short-lived cookie to block abuse. Both see your IP address when your browser contacts them.
Data in our software
Businesses that use our software enter their own records, for example customer names, mobile numbers, vehicle details, invoices and payments. We store and process that data only to provide the service to that business. The business decides what is entered and is responsible for having its customers’ permission.
WhatsApp messages
Garage Pro can send service reminders, and offers if a garage switches them on, through the WhatsApp Business Platform run by Meta. Messages go only to customers the garage has marked as agreeing to receive them. Anyone can reply STOP at any time to stop these messages. Meta processes message content and delivery data under its own terms.
Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with providers we need to run the service (hosting, WhatsApp delivery through Meta, email), or when the law requires it.
How we protect it
Data travels over encrypted connections, access is limited by role, and we keep backups to prevent loss.
How long we keep it
We keep a business’s data while it uses our service. When it closes its account, we delete its data, except records we must keep by law, such as tax invoices.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent. If your data was entered by a business that uses our software, contact that business first; you can also write to us at info@sjcodelabs.com and we will help. We reply to privacy requests and complaints as quickly as we can.
Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed at children.
